- Manages the operations, staff and procurement services provided by Regional Procurement.
- Continually improves the Regional Procurement solutions developed for client councils throughout NSW.
- Manages all tender processes delivered by Regional Procurement to client councils.
- Provides Probity Advice and Auditing Services.
- Facilitates effective, compliant and quality tender processes on behalf of councils in the Hunter Region.
Qualifications
Michael commenced as Account Manager for the Hunter Region in late 2020, bringing with him an incredible 40 years of experience and expertise in local government procurement.
His roles in council had included managing procurement and tendering services, 10 years of stores operations and 20 years of developing and implementing purchasing and stores software. His qualifications have included Industrial Relations Management and certificates in Sustainable Procurement, Contract Management and Leadership Skills.
